How is it that a place like this would be abandoned, everything is almost completely set up; would people just leave with everything still in place. This is wonderful but how would this be abandoned and remain ghostly similar to when it was forggoten?

My guess: Someone staged the whole scene

The mold on the wall looks almost decorative, like ivy crawling its way along the wall.

Wow. :wow:
How do you find all these amazing places? How have they not been looted/vandalised?

I usually find them by research on the internet, but I also get tips sometimes. Most of the places I've seen were vandalized or looted...

but you're not going to tell me they left the building leaving table-cloth and dishes and flowers on the table behind them, right? :)
however, this is giving a great sense of overhasty flight and it somewhat makes me feel sad for the poor building that's left alone in its mess.
wonderful capture!

I am not really sure. Perhaps someone arranged this scene. But I have seen older pictures, where it looked exactly the same.

so is that then something like a ...tourist attraction and someone is caring about the arrangement?
I mean,...those flowers on the table for instance don't look as if they were there since ages.
However, I don't want to discuss that to death.
It's an amazing picture, no matter how it was done :)
