i could totally use that bed frame i sleep on the floor
is that a death cat ;/
A pity that it's gone now.
Is....Is that a dead cat???????
Woah! Great photograph and congrats on the DD!
I think your roof gave out.
Wow, this is a really cool picture! The cat makes me a little sad, though. Did you take a picture of this house exactly as you found it?
Yes, but I doubt that this is how the house was left...
Poor kitty D: D: D: D: Wonderful picture though
I didn't even realize the cat was there until someone mentioned it. Disturbing, yet compelling to look at.
I guess my question would be...why did they all of the sudden leave everything as is? The Cross over the bed may give a clue.
I am not sure.. many things looked "staged". And crosses are very common in Belgium, Luxembourg, etc.
Congrats on the DD!
This is so hauntingly beautiful, I could cry.
It would look amazing fixed up.
Like a restoration. ! Great !.
Beautiful photo! Congrats on the DD
this can be the place to film the next exorcist movies :S . man you are lucky to be in a place that has abandoned structures bc in my town there is not that many abandoned buildings and they are small and sucks
- Congrats on the well deserved DD!
Have a nice day!
OMG... the dead cat looks like it waited for its owners to come back..
I'm glad to see this featured, I love your work and you really deserve the DD!
Beautiful, congrats on the DD !
Congrats on the Daily Deviation!
Thank you for getting this picture it seems so stopped by time, it even has a decomposed cat to complete the set. Someone else took a photo of this place and the cat [link] they must have not desturbed it. Would you happen to know [link] or did you both just stumble on this place by chance because this place sems to more or less unchanged along with the cat? You both took nice but slightly different pictures of this.
Interestingly the picture of Jesus is missing in this picture. Instead a cross is hanging on the wall. Also note the missing drawers on the left side of the wardrobe.
great work, nice details!
why would they leave that lovely furniture behind? Well built pieces too.
why would they leave that lovely furniture behind?
I want that furniture! Who would abandon that? Grab it and run!
I have a feeling this is near Chernobyl Accident....because your right who leaves this furniture?
I would love to explore this house... seems interesting. Good work!
It is... quite depressing. But that place seems to still have soul.
Odd that people would abandon so many of their possessions. It makes one wonder -- what caused them to leave like that? It would be interesting to know their story.
Here's a true story [link] you can translate it with google but the synopsis is a man died silently in his bed. Even if it was not an isolated place at all he lay on his bed like this cat from 1996 (oldest mail timestamps behind the door) to 2012 16 years ! He was discovered because a neighbour have water spilling in his house from the dead's one. If the roof was more reliable, he would still wait in his bed.
